Munchies in Maine burst onto the scene in 2025, thanks to two culinary crusaders and best pals, Ali and Bill, who bonded over their shared love of scrumptious bites and delightful sips!

​

Ali is a Maine-based author, entrepreneur, and publisher residing in Midcoast Maine. She is known for her work documenting the lives of women in Maine’s maritime industries, as well as her photography. However, when she's not juggling work or chauffeuring kids to sports extravaganzas, you’ll catch her indulging in food-filled escapades with friends, giggling over mouth-watering dishes, and clinking glasses of tasty cocktails. Her college days near Boston were a whirlwind of culinary adventures, and if you spot her in the wild, she's definitely sipping on her signature Hornitos and Soda water- feel free to send her one!

Bill has had a passion for dining out since childhood, savoring chicken Parm in cities like New York and Chicago. With nearly 700 Google reviews and over a million views, he has dedicated more than 15 years to sharing authentic dining and drinking experiences across the United States.

After ditching the chaotic corporate world and finding a solid work-life balance here in Maine, you’ll find Bill whipping up cocktails in the mid-coast food scene, juggling shaker tins at both swanky spots and cherished neighborhood hangouts. Cheers to that!

The duo believes that dining is not solely about the food; it encompasses the overall experience, the emotions, and the energy a restaurant exudes as you step through the door, regardless of how tropical we might feel before arriving.
