That Escalated Quickly: The Munchies VIP Night Recap
What a night! Our first-ever Munchies VIP Night on the Town was a beautiful whirlwind of chaos, cocktails, and coastlines. If you weren’t there, here is exactly what went down during our inaugural Munchies-mobile excursion.
The Crew
We packed the stretch SUV limo to the gills with a high-energy squad- And man, did we look good! Who says we can’t dress to the nines and saunter around midcoast Maine... Nobody!
Ali & Bill: Our Munchies Co-Founders.

The VIPs: Our two Golden Ticket purchasers and our lucky raffle winner.
A Rocky (but Funny) Start
Full transparency: scheduling is hard! We were genuinely bummed to lose our initial winners, Megan and Jill, due to timing conflicts (we love you guys!). After drawing three different winners to find someone who could make the night work in March or April, the stars finally aligned, and the mish-mash of hilariousness officially commenced.
The Itinerary: From Tush Pushes to Tacos
1. The Warm-Up at Cuzzy’s:
We kicked things off at the local staple, CUZZY'S Restaurant & tavern. In true Bill fashion, we toasted to the night with his signature "Tush Push" shots. For the non-sports fans: yes, it’s a football thing; yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. Never tried one? Stop into Cuzzy’s on a Sunday and Bill will hook you up!
2. The Star of the Show: The Limo
The limo was the undisputed star of the night. After grabbing a gangster parking spot right in front of Cuzzy’s for all to see, it was expertly driven to perfection by our good friend Chuck Christie. We aren't sure how he kept that boat on the road with all of us dancing our asses off in the back, but he handled it like a pro! Chuck, sorry you couldn't partake in a drinky-poos with us all night, but we'll make it up to you!!
3. Upscale Vibes at 16 Bayview:
We moved to the Vintage Room at 16 Bay View, where the fireplace was roaring, and a custom Munchies VIP signature cocktail was waiting. It was pure class, made even better by an intimate serenade from local musical talent Aidan Kaczynski.
4. Jungle Chic & Authentic Eats at Dos Gatos:
Once we hopped back in the SUV and popped the bubbles, we danced our way to Belfast to see Adam at Dos Gatos. The team there absolutely delivered on our expectations. We started with a combination of delicious apps—including a tuna ceviche off the specials menu that was a total standout—followed by some of the best plates of tacos we have ever had.
The authentic tacos made with homemade tortillas were the stars of the show (even if a couple of us might not entirely remember taking them down). We simply adore the jungle chic vibe Adam has created!
5. Karaoke Finale: Back in the limo, we boogied our way back down to Camden. We capped the night off listening to Aiden and friends crank out karaoke tunes. We danced until things approached total mayhem, and then, in true Munchies fashion, stayed for the quintessential "just one more."
They always say we laugh too much, but this night truly raised the bar. A massive thank you to everyone who put their name in the hat for this raffle!
