Park Street Grill has firmly planted itself as a beloved gem in our local dining scene.
With its lively and friendly atmosphere, the restaurant offers a menu that creatively fuses American and Mexican flavors.
We always kick off our meal with complimentary chips and salsa, paired with a skinny margarita—because if it’s free, it’s for me!
Today, we chose the Cuban sandwich, a long-standing favorite at PSG that has weathered ownership changes and secured its place on the menu.
It certainly lived up to expectations, and we’d happily order it again!
Served with crispy French fries and a pesto dipping sauce, this was a delightful twist on the classic Cuban sandwich.
Sometimes, the flavors in a Cuban can be overpowering—if the pickles are too strong or the mustard too sharp—but this version achieved a fantastic balance, all nestled within a tasty Panini filled with top-notch pork.
We couldn't resist trying the Guinness beef stew from the specials menu. On a chilly, gray day, it was the perfect, mouthwatering choice! Although it arrived slightly lukewarm—a fact our bar neighbors quickly noticed—it didn’t detract from the incredible flavor of the stew.
Our bartender, Jill, was a superstar, managing the bustling bar all on her own. In my opinion, she crafts the best skinny margaritas in Maine!
Having been a staple in Maine for many years, Park Street Grill recently changed ownership. While some locals were sad to see beloved items removed from the original menu, which had seen little change over the years, the new owners appear to have an exciting vision for PSG's future, introducing live music and innovative menu options.
Overall, this is a must-visit destination! (Don't skip the fajitas!)
